We have had our adventure in New Zealand and are now happily settled back in our little place on the island. Things I took for granted are now appreciated and renewed relationships are in full swing!
But I have found our adventures are continuing in another direction! We are buying a house! I have been the lead on the this one and am learning about all things surrounding the process. Stressfull but just taking it one step at a time. Just another week and we will own it. And Rick (my partner) has not even seen it!!! What faith he has in me! Anyway, the new house is in the same town as my sister and dad and much closer to my mom’s so I can see her more often. So I am excited. We will move when Max graduates this spring. And then we will rent our current house.
I have also taken a job watching twin 15 month olds! What am I thinking?! But they are really cute and it is only until the end of May when we will move to our new town.
Sandy and I are leaving on a trip to Disneyland tomorrow. It should be a great trip! Weather sounds like it will be warm and dry.
Thanksgiving is up after that and we are hosting it for 12 people! I just got the turkey and will keep my fingers crossed that it turns out well. Martha Stewart I am not!
