Sarah and I had a chocolate chip cookie bake-off. We had our recipes, the ingredients and our trusty assistant, Max. The flour flew, the chocolate chipped and the mixers (us) mixed. Sarah’s secret ingredient was vanilla pudding mix. I used a combo of butter and vegetable shortening. The afternoon was definitely a winner with all of us working together in the kitchen! Both the cookie recipes made cookies that were yummy.
No new news on the rental front. We have had 3 couples look but I guess it was not what any of them was looking for. The ad comes out again today and tomorrow so maybe we will have some interest then. The market has slowed down and I noticed several houses still listed that were available in March. Not good news for us. But for now we are still first in line for the house in Takapuna….
